Let me start by saying that I legitimately spent SO many evenings watching YouTube and sifting through reviews online looking for the perfect bag... Whether you believe in that sort of thing or not lol. My main reason for upgrading, which is worth mentioning in case this may be yours as well, was that I needed a bag that could fit my 200-600mm lens.. which is a beast. Not only does this bag do that, but I have also logged several miles (and thus several hours) with it strapped to my back, and it is pretty darn comfy considering the load it contains. For reference, two of the four lenses in that picture are the Sony 200-600G and the Sigma 24-70 f2.8. those two chubby bunnies total about seven and a half pounds all by themselves. Legitimately, it doesn't feel like a heavy bag on your back though. It's very solidly stitched with what seem like high quality fabrics and zippers. Obviously there are countless different configurations with the removable spacers. Lots of storage compartments, most of which remain empty for me just based on the sheer volume... Several places to tether things with molle-style straps... And It would probably stand up on its own if it didn't have that big ass Sony can in it doing its best to mingle w gravity. My OOOONLY wish... It just seems like most of these bags haven't figured out a great way to incorporate a tripod. I really don't like the little pouch that frumpily flops out of the bottom to try to hold the feet. Although I would say I trust the stitching, I don't fully trust that little flap for the long haul, and when the tripod is mid-back, you can't just set the bag down on something to get inside access without it flopping over to one side or the other. Putting the tripod in a side compartment is doable, but still feels pretty wonky. All other things considered with this bag, and also considering that is an unfortunate truth with many camera bags, I don't think it's enough to downgrade it a star. Huge zoom lens? Check. Couple of bodies and a couple of lenses? Check. bunch of small lenses that you can lay down flat or stand up vertically? Check. This bag is a winner! For size reference, I am 5'10, 175lbs.
