The fabric is lacey rose pattern with small sequin shine. It's softer than I thought it would be and a little stretchy. There is a pretty jewel pattern on the shoulders that doesn't show well on the pictures.At 5'8" 200 lbs, I usually wear size 16 but purchased 18W on Amazon recommendation. It's about a size and a half to big, so it's probably true to size. It is ankle length on me, about 6 inches off the floor.I purchased this for a cruise and it is light weight, wrinkle resident and just a little sparkly. I would have given it 5 stars if it fit better.
