I love this bag! I am a gal who has been using nothing but cross body handbags for more than twenty years. I always find those bags to be a bit on the small side, especially since I need to carry an eyeglass case with me. Those handbags generally have thin straps that twist and cause wrinkles in my clothing. I decided to try a small messenger bag instead of a standard cross body handbag, hoping it might provide that little bit of extra space I need. This bag was perfect! It's larger than a handbag but not overly large. There is a zippered pocket in the back for my phone, so I don't have to dig around in the main compartment to find it. When unzipped, that pocket is deep enough to prevent my phone from slipping out while keeping it securely in the bag and still readily accessible. The faux leather fabric is buttery soft, giving the bag an elevated, luxurious feel. The color is consistent throughout and after getting caught in a few sudden downpours, this bag is truly water resistant as everything inside stayed dry. The adjustable strap is wider than a traditional handbag but it sits nicely across my shoulder, laying flat without twisting. And no wrinkling of my shirt. This bag is so versatile and could be used by men as well as women. As a messenger bag it easily holds my Kindle, my checkbook, a day planner and paperwork (provided the papers are rolled or folded for the smaller sized bag). This has become my new favorite bag!
