smaller than what I expected. I was not happy with that. I gave it to my little nieceKate Spade uses high quality leather. This tote has a very soft feel however, the corners are already starting to wear as a result. Size is so personal and this one is right in between for my taste. There is not a good spot for my Android phone. The outside pocket has a snap positioned in such a way that if I just want to slide the phone in, it will not lay down securely without unsnapping.I thought I would like the chain detail, good for looks, but when the purse is laid down, the handles always seem to be flopping in the wrong place.I gave this stars for looks, but took one off for functionality.I've been watching the price fluctuate for this bag and when it went to 50% off (shipped and sold from Amazon) I knew I had to get it -- and I wasn't disappointed!As other reviewers have mentioned the "Mousse Frosting" color is actually more of a medium grey color (kind of like a taupe or clay color). Even though the color is misrepresented online, it didn't bother me since I knew it would be darker in person and actually prefer the grey color.Mine arrived wrapped in tissue paper and in a clear packaging bag. Too bad there's no Kate Spade box, but mine did come with a KS dust bag.Overall the bag is fairly lightweight and has two main open compartments with a zipper pouch in between. The inside is a nice light pink color which goes great with the gold hardware and grey exterior look.I'm so glad I decided to upgrade my old black leather purse, and ended up getting this one! My goal was to find a quality purse (genuine leather) that goes well with lots of different outfits, and this one can be dressed up or down. Many of my friends have commented on how they love this purse! I'm also glad that it fits a lot of items without being too bulky; you can carry a lot of stuff (the iPad air fits perfectly), and it has several compartments/zippers so you items can stay somewhat organized. I don't like some of my other purses because they don't have compartments, and sometimes when my keys and sunglasses are together, my sunglasses end up getting scratched --- a tragedy easily avoided with this purse!I'm a big fan of kate spade, and this bag does not disappoint. I got the putty color, and it looks so classy. I'm 5 ft 1 in so I prefer smaller bags that won't overwhelm my frame, yet big enough to actually carry all the things I need. I put a bottle of water on one side and my wallet on the other side of the "divider". My cell phone goes in one of the inside pockets for easy access. I know I will use this bag for many years!This is my first Kate Spade purse and I love it so far. I really like the color - it's "mousse frosting" and will go with anything. I like that it can stand on it's own and it seems to have plenty of room for everything I need. I love the outer pocket on the purse. I plan to use it everyday, but it's dressy for evening events too.Absolutely love it!! I've been waiting for this bag for a long time and was so excited to receive it. Also loved being able to save a little on this purchase as well. It's the perfect size for everything I carry and came with a cloth storage bag to store it in when not using.The image on the internet makes it look between white and off white. The actual color is far far from that. The actual color is a medium grey. I purchased this for my wife and I was disappointed when opening it. Luckily my wife loves the handbag , but admits she wishes it was the color represented in the photo.
