THE PROS:1. The outer material is thick and appears to be tough-wearing.2. The internal molle and included velcro straps will securely hold the firearm to the interior of the case, so there is no weight on the zipper that might cause it to fail. (Another AR pistol case available on Amazon has a fatal design flaw in this regard, in that the weight of the weapon rests on the zipper when the case is zipped closed and carried, which some reviewers state caused the zipper to break open and their gun to hit the pavement. No such danger with this case.)3. The outer pouches are nice and roomy. Each one will accommodate a half dozen 30-round mags. (I have no idea how many 10-round magazines they will hold; I don't own any such thing, although I'm told by people who live in California that they do exist.)4. If your AR pistol is 24" long or less with the brace fully compacted, this case will accommodate it with no problems.THE CONS:1. I wish the foam padding was a bit thicker. The padding it does have is serviceable and will keep the gun protected against the minor bumps and jostles of everyday handling and transportation, but it is by no means heavy duty.2. It could be greatly improved by adding a hand grip in addition to the shoulder sling.THE BOTTOM LINE:Considering the increasing popularity of AR- platform pistols, you'd think it would be an easy matter to find an inexpensive soft case to transport your gun to the range and back; but not so. Of the handful of options that are out there, this one is a great choice. It's by no means perfect, and as noted above there is room for improvement, but I do not regret buying it. It easily rates 4 stars all day long.I love this because it comes in handy on a hunting trip.It seems very sturdy.. For the price it's a bargain.. Very satisfied.Couldn't find a better way to pack and carry the CD 101 4.10 single shot turkey gun. The extra pockets are perfect for gloves, calls, mesh mosquito nets, ammo, whatever..It's been perfect for minimalist budget huntingPerfect to hold my 6*24" quilting rulers!Nice travel bag for my PC9. Easy to carry with lots of available pockets for Magazines and stull. Would buy this again!I purchased this as "trunk to scene" bag for off duty use. I wanted something that did not scream GUN if I should ever respond to an active scene while off duty. Current directives are to go directly to scene and enter... don't wait. In some scenarios the ability to get from unmarked vehicle to a building without appearing to be a responding LE would be a big plus. I also wanted something to hold only the necessities for the weapon and cheap enough to abandon once inside and not be out $200 if it is not there when I return. Backpacks seem to all be too short or WAY too long. This works for my purposes for now.Inside, an DDM4 PDW, a vest ID'ing me as LE so as to not (hopefully) draw any friendly fire, a small dedicated mag bag with 6 mags, plus one strapped in the bag as the initial load. Once inside the vest goes on, the bag goes over my shoulder to one side, and the DD gets a mag and a charge. Sidearm and radio are already on me concealed. The bag gets dropped and left. The size is perfect. The DD is 20.5" but an ASR adds another 1" to 1.5" over that overall after removing the "Linear Comp" that came on it. It fits, with a half inch or so to spare. There are molle-ish attachment points in the back, with just some pieces of velcro to slide through the molle and secure the weapon. I doubt the velcro strips will last long, but are very easily replaced and the molle seems to be decently attached. There is a padded strip around the outside edge of the entire bag, inside the main compartment, that helps it hold its shape when closed. The outside compartments are bigger than they look and all the same size. I can get 6 30rd mags in one, but I won't. All I plan to carry there are multiple IFAKs and some door wedges to take with me if time and pockets allow. Time will tell if it holds up, and I doubt it would if it was carried around a lot, but it won't be. I will transfer the DD only to a range bag when needed, leaving this set up and ready, in the car. Zippers seem to be very light duty, so they may not hold up. A great bag? No. A great value for something with very limited planned use and basically has a lot of potential to be lost if ever used for real? Yes. If it was just about any color other than black it would have been perfect.I can't complain at the price point, but I will anyways. The material and zippers are flimsy, and if I used this for more than storage and the occasional trip to the range, I'd probably be less than enthused when it undoubtedly tattered. But, that said, it fits the bill for my purposes -- though if they made it with a higher denier nylon (I don't believe this is truly 600D; no way, no how) and sturdier zippers and a better compartment configuration, I'd've happily paid 50% more and given it a 5-star rating twice. At the time of purchase, though, the next step up in quality and price was awfully steep, so I'm generally pleased with the choice.Bottom line: If you're looking for something to pack for the trail, look elsewhere, but if you're looking for a very modestly priced tote bag that needn't tolerate any sort of abuse (like, just to the range and back) then it's a solid bargain. (The carry strap is probably the most durable feature on the whole and, even with moderate use, I will likely end up cutting the zippers out and home-fashioning an alternative for the compartments.)
